December – Emily Fahrner our Transitional House Coordinator was married to Devin Corley on December 30, 2006. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Corley February – Emily Corley was accepted to the Mayo Clinic Medical Social Services Graduate Residency Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. This program provides in-depth clinical knowledge and skills that enable practitioners to deliver comprehensive social services in both clinical and hospital settings. Congratulations Emily! Assande Adom, a graduate student at SIU, has had his paper accepted for presentation at the upcoming Southern Economic Association meetings. The title of the paper is "Money Demand Stability Under Currency Substitution in Selected African Countries." Des is our live on staff here at the Good Samaritan House. Congratulations Des!
