Who We Are
Good Samaritan Ministries is a tax-exempt organization, established in 1985 by The Carbondale Interfaith Council, to provide services to the needy in the Carbondale area.
What We Do
We provide an emergency shelter, a transitional housing program, a soup kitchen, a food pantry, and an emergency assistance program.

Double Your Money and Food Contributions
To Fight Hunger @ Good Sam
During the months of March and April, new monies and food donated to
Good Samaritan Ministries Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry will go twice as far.
They will be matched by the Feinstein Foundation’s annual $1 million giveaway.
Please help Good Samaritan Ministries meet the Feinstein Challenge by making a donation.
Churches, businesses and organizations across Southern Illinois will be participating in this Good Samaritan Ministries’ fundraiser.
